Time flies. In 2 weeks I get to start my exercise science class. I am understanding how much it and all my classes will help me with improving your health. Learning the body... it'll take a lifetime, of course. ACC has much to offer, as does the University, how wonderful is that? Meanwhile, "winter" is here, and am in love with it! I moved here to be in a better climate for my health, and I certainly do not miss the constant grey drizzle gloom of the NW! I miss the amazing city of Portland, and the awake individuals there, yet I am overjoyed to be able to live in this weather now! The joints are grateful. I may begin working with Silver Sneakers soon, which will not take away my time from my personal clients, of course. It's just always good to educate myself in all ways possible, so applying there is another way to continue my exploration of health, fitness, the body, nutrition,... LIFE. It's not easy being "middle-aged," as people seem to call it. One advantage, for me, is knowing that if I keep moving, things will always feel better. Chronic pain and illness need not stop us from living. Let's remember that, and take it one day at a time.
